Karachi with all of its hustle and bustle has been a place of growth for me. And growth only happens when you go through challenges in life so for a while Karachi was a place of pain for me. It is that very pain that has transmuted and alchemised me. Rumi says “wound is where the light enters”. Karachi for me has been that wound that let so much light enter into my life, into my heart. It has given me some of the best people who have held me through the toughest times of my life. It has been the city where I have seen my dreams come true. This is a city that made me into myself.
